Founded in 2010, our purpose was driven by how challenging it was to find flexible opportunities for women in the corporate world.
Since then, we’re proud to have developed and grown a business model that benefits everyone who needs and wants flexibility, alongside more purposeful work opportunities.
Founder Lynne completed the London School of Economics course ‘Purpose and Profit: The Essentials of Social Business.’
AG Comms joined like-minded partners 1% for the Planet, the Better Business Act and began the process towards becoming a B Corp. In keeping with our mission to create better working options for women and girls, we donated 1% of revenue to The Girls’ Network.
We built on local and national partnerships and created new internal roles for purpose. As part of Westminster’s Better Business Day we joined thousands of others to lobby MPs.
We certified with Green Small Business for measuring our environmental footprint and were awarded an EcoVadis Gold Rating in their Business Sustainability Assessment. Throughout the year we strengthened ties with like-minded organisations and charities and were delighted to be certified as B Corp.
We were proud to receive the EcoVadis Platinum Medal and continued to take part in collective climate action through nationwide events and initiatives. 75% of our employees became carbon literate and we began to offer virtual work placements for 16-25 year olds.
AG Communications became AG Impact – a name change that reflected everything we stand for and our commitment to empower positive change across everything we do.
We also celebrated a huge milestone – our 15th birthday!
To date, we have donated £171,738 to SDG5 Equality for Women and Girls and SDG 13 Climate Action.
