My background

Over the past 18 years, my career has taken me from carbon and GHG verification into wider climate advisory, carbon accounting and net zero strategy. My love for the environment started much earlier, growing up in Kenya close to nature, and that connection has shaped the choices I’ve made throughout my career.

My work has covered regulated and voluntary carbon reporting, GHG inventory development, assurance readiness, science-based targets and decarbonisation planning, supporting organisations across service sectors, manufacturing, creative arts, pharmaceuticals and aviation.

What I enjoy most about my work

I enjoy working with people who share a clear purpose and want to make climate action practical. I like helping organisations understand their carbon data, especially when complex information starts to make sense and teams can see what it means for their decisions, reporting and future plans. I also enjoy the detail — reviewing data, finding patterns, testing assumptions and helping make climate information more credible and useful.

Companies I’ve worked with

SGS UK Limited, Ramboll UK Ltd, Kridha Limited (Kenya) and independent consultancy engagements, with experience supporting organisations across service sectors, creative arts, aviation, pharmaceuticals and manufacturing, including BAFTA Albert, British Airways, Pfizer, Bristol Myers Squibb and Novartis.

My hope for the future

My hope is that climate action becomes more practical, inclusive and meaningful. Growing up in Kenya gave me an early appreciation of how closely people, nature and livelihoods are connected. I would like to see businesses use credible carbon data not just for reporting, but to understand their impact, make better decisions and contribute to a fairer, more sustainable future.
